What is AI Activity Evidence?
It is the observable record of interaction with AI services, assistants and coding agents. Depending on the acquired scope, the reviewer may receive sessions, prompts and responses, tool calls, terminal commands, agent activity, timeline placement and source-linked provenance.
It is not a conclusion about intent, accuracy or conduct. A qualified examiner interprets the observed records in the context of the matter.
Why is this a distinct evidence class?
AI activity can inform questions that conventional device and communications review does not present as a coherent session. Investigators need to understand what activity is available, what context accompanies it, and what the acquisition does not show.
